A co-founder needed to look camera-ready for an early video call with a Singapore-based investment group. She had 30 minutes between waking up and logging in, no time to leave the apartment.

Family tea ceremony, first time hosting
A client was hosting a formal tea gathering for her extended family for the first time. She wanted to look attentive to the occasion without appearing overdone — a balance she wasn't confident she could achieve on her own.

Wu Mei prepared a look using a restrained palette — natural lip, minimal contour, and skin preparation that gave a polished but understated finish. The session included a brief discussion of the gathering's format and who would be present.

The client felt that the look helped her carry the day with more ease than she expected. The ceremony ran four hours; the application held throughout. She booked again the following month for a similar gathering.
Challenge
Year-end self-documentation project
A client who works in product design wanted to mark the close of a significant year with something more deliberate than a selfie. She'd grown interested in how her aesthetic preferences had shifted and wanted a record of it.
Solution
Year-End Retrospective — 2.5 hours
The session opened with an extended consultation comparing her preferences from the prior year's notes. A signature look was designed and applied, then captured in a portrait session coordinated by Lin Hui. A written style summary followed.
Outcome
Portrait and personal style archive
The client received her portraits within the week and the style document shortly after. She described it as the most useful thing she'd done for herself that year. She has since recommended the package to two colleagues.
