1. Definitions
- "FengSilk" refers to the makeup artistry service operated from Hsinchu, Taiwan.
- "Service" refers to any makeup session or package offered by FengSilk.
- "Client" / "You" refers to the individual booking or using the Service.
- "Website" refers to the FengSilk website accessible at https://fengsilkfd.blog/.
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with any booking. You must be at least 18 years of age to book our services or agree on behalf of someone else in your care.
3. Service Description
FengSilk provides professional home visit makeup artistry in the Hsinchu region of Taiwan. Services currently available include the Elevator Pitch Ready session, the Traditional Tea House Look, and the Year-End Retrospective Package. Details of each service, including duration, inclusions, and pricing, are published on the Solutions page of our website.
Services are subject to geographic availability. Travel to locations outside the Hsinchu area may require prior arrangement and may be subject to additional charges communicated in advance.
4. Bookings and Appointments
Bookings are made through the contact form on our website or by phone. An appointment is considered confirmed once you have received written or verbal confirmation from FengSilk. We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion.
Please ensure that the appointment location has adequate lighting and suitable space for the artist to work. FengSilk is not responsible for delays caused by unsuitable conditions at the client's location.
5. Payment Terms
Prices are stated in New Taiwan Dollar (NTD). Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements are agreed in writing. FengSilk accepts payment by methods communicated at the time of booking confirmation.
Prices displayed on the website are inclusive of all stated inclusions. Additional charges will not be applied without your knowledge and agreement in advance.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We ask for at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a partial charge, to be agreed between the parties at the time of booking. FengSilk reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances; in such cases, we will notify you as early as possible and offer an alternative time.
7. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when booking, including any known skin allergies or sensitivities.
- Ensure the appointment location is accessible, reasonably well-lit, and safe for the artist.
- Be present and ready at the agreed start time.
- Treat FengSilk staff with courtesy and respect.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the FengSilk website โ including text, design, and imagery โ is the property of FengSilk or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of it without prior written consent.
Photographs taken during sessions (where consent has been provided) may be used by FengSilk for portfolio or promotional purposes. You retain the right to withdraw consent in writing at any time.
9. Photography and Documentation
For services that include photography or documentation (such as the Year-End Retrospective Package), images and written summaries are produced for the client's personal use. FengSilk may use these for portfolio purposes only with your explicit written permission.
10. Disclaimers
FengSilk provides professional makeup services to the best of our ability. We do not make guarantees regarding specific outcomes. Skin reactions to cosmetics, while rare, cannot be entirely ruled out; it is the client's responsibility to disclose known sensitivities before the session begins.
All information on the website is provided for general informational purposes. The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, FengSilk's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific session to which the claim relates. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify FengSilk and its staff against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, or from inaccurate information provided at the time of booking (including undisclosed allergies or sensitivities).
13. Termination
Either party may cancel a confirmed appointment in accordance with the cancellation terms above. FengSilk reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service in cases of unreasonable conduct.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Hsinchu, Taiwan. We encourage informal resolution before any formal proceedings are initiated.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
