FengSilk was founded in Hsinchu with a straightforward aim: to make high-quality makeup artistry available at the times and places it matters most. Too often, getting ready for something significant meant adding travel and waiting to an already full morning. We thought there was a better way.
The name FengSilk comes from the idea of something both resilient and refined — qualities we try to bring to every session. Whether preparing someone for a pivotal meeting or marking a year's end with a thoughtful look and portrait, the work is always personal.
We serve clients across the Hsinchu area, working from their homes, hotel rooms, or chosen venues. Each appointment begins with listening — to what the occasion demands and what the client prefers.

Chen Ling
Lead Makeup Artist
Chen brings over nine years of experience in bridal, editorial, and event makeup across Taiwan. She founded FengSilk to offer a more considered, mobile alternative to traditional studio bookings.
Wu Mei
Styling Consultant
Mei specializes in cultural aesthetics and tea ceremony presentation. She advises on styling for events where restraint and cultural nuance are as important as technique.
Lin Hui
Client Coordinator
Hui manages scheduling, client communication, and photographer coordination for the Year-End Retrospective Package. She ensures each session runs exactly as planned.

Hygienic product handling
All tools are cleaned and sanitized between appointments. Products are decanted where necessary to avoid cross-contamination.
Skin-compatible products
The product selection prioritizes formulations suitable for a broad range of skin types, including sensitive and reactive skin.
Pre-session consultation
Every appointment begins with a brief consultation to align on the look, discuss any concerns, and note any allergies before products are applied.
Privacy and discretion
Client details and session specifics are handled with care and never shared. Photos are taken only with express permission.
Punctuality commitment
FengSilk artists arrive on time and work within the agreed session window. If anything changes, clients are informed as early as possible.
Post-session support
After your session, you can reach out with questions about look maintenance or product recommendations. We're accessible, not just present on the day.

Hsinchu's character is shaped by its technology sector, its historic core, and its quieter ceremonial spaces — tea houses, temple courtyards, community halls where formal occasions take on a different weight than they might elsewhere. FengSilk's services grew out of that landscape.
The Elevator Pitch Ready service emerged from conversations with founders and professionals who needed to look sharp and composed for high-stakes mornings — without time to spare. The Traditional Tea House Look was developed in response to clients preparing for cultural events where the aesthetic of restraint carries meaning. The Year-End Retrospective Package grew into something more layered: a session that closes a chapter with both visual and documentary care.
Working across the East District and surrounding Hsinchu neighborhoods, FengSilk brings a focused, professional approach to each home visit. The artist arrives with a prepared kit, a respectful manner, and the attention needed to make the session feel like a private, considered experience — not an appointment rushed through a schedule.
